Hi, I'm Lisa,
A fifty something, disabled stay at home Mum, with two teenagers and two dogs. I love my family but needed something for me. Something that I could do that would bring others as much pleasure as it bought me.
In 2011 I needed some major surgery and was facing a long recuperation period. Searching around for something to do I found some magazines and some stamps and pens. And that was that ........ I was hooked. I gradually learnt more and more and my hobby became my passion. I loved creating cards and presents that were beautifully wrapped for other people and seeing their happiness when they got them. I still love that feeling. Being able to make someone happy through what I do is an awesome bonus.
So why did I become a Stampin Up! Demonstrator.
Simple really, I fell in love with the products. Literally. I love them. They make being creative fun, easy and completely co-ordinated. If I can, anyone can. I discovered the company quite by accident and couldnt find a demonstrator near me ......... so I did some research and joined. Really just to get the 20% discount on every order I placed.
I had no idea when I joined in May 2013 that I would build a team of successful demonstrators and win the UK Design Competition at Convention in both 2013 and 2014. I am very proud and honoured to have been chosen. I also was asked to do a display piece for Convention in 2014. I decorated the Christmas Dinner Table in some of my favourite colours and products. Again humbled and honoured to have been asked. In 2015 I was asked to present a demonstration in Amsterdam.
I regularly hold classes for people local to me, I have customers all the country and in Europe and love interacting with everyone, and exchanging ideas and thoughts.
Stampin Up! is a very rewarding choice for me. I can honestly say that I love what I do and love to share it. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I hope that I have inspired you with my story. Stampin UP! gave me back a part of my life that I lost when I had my accident, and for that I will forever be truly thankful. But more than that I have met some of the most wonderful people and been able to create and share some truly inspiration projects with my friends from all over the world.
If you want to know more than please drop me an email, text or call me. I'd love to hear from you.
Big Hugs
